You may be familiar with key board shortcuts of XP.Here are some useful shortcuts for wndows7.
After pressing win key +press the following keys for different functions: win+
space->quickly shows your desktop.
up/down/left/right->to navigate active window.
digits(1,2,3...)->opens taskbar programs.
Home –> Minimize/Maximize all inactive windows.
P –> link Laptop to projector.
G –> Show desktop gadgets.
T –> Focus the first taskbar entry, akin to ALT +TAB.
Shift + T –> Same as above in back order.
Tab –> Windows Task Switcher

ctr+shft+N->to create a new folder
Alt + P –> Shows/hides Preview bar in Surveyor.
Ctrl + Shift + Click –> A taskbar icon to run program as administrator.
Shift + rightClick –> send to menu.
