If you are trying to edit anything in registry try to export or backup registrykeys or whole thing. If
any problems occurs you can easly recover / restore it by the following steps:
if you are using XP goto -->start and take run
Type regedit in th run box and press OK.
Take File menu and press Export to export it.
a save box will appear in that >select branches of registry or the whole and type the filename. select a location in orderh to save the .reg file with the name used.
2.How to Restore the Registry
