LinkedIn and eHarmony user passwords were stolen

LinkedIn was hacked - confirmed by LinkedIn on 6/6/2012


According to technology experts.About around millions of users of the social networking site LinkedIn and eHarmony have their passwords stolen.

Social networking site LinkedIn and online dating service eHarmony  user passwords had been breached after security experts discovered cracked files with passwords for millions of online accounts.
LinkedIn is investigating claims by a Russian hacker that he broke into the company’s network and stole nearly 6.5 million LinkedIn and eHarmony password hashes for user accounts, according to a Twitter message the company sent out on Wednesday.





The same hackers responsible for the theft of over 6.4 million  LinkedIn passwords also acquired passwords from the popular dating site eHarmony.
The russian hacker also claimed that he has stolen 1.5 million passwords 
from popular dating site eHarmony.Check linked in stolen passwords list.
